PNW MARKET POOL OPERATIONS UPDATE

The PNW Market Pool is currently experiencing increased import volumes and extended street dwells in the Seattle and Tacoma markets. We kindly request that all PNW Market Pool customers expedite the return of long-dwelling equipment in Seattle and Tacoma to improve the availability of chassis.
Recent shutouts of empty returns for multiple steamship lines at the various marine terminals in Seattle and Tacoma have also placed a major constraint on chassis availability. The pool asks that steamship line and motor carrier stakeholders work together to find alternate l
ocations to return empties to free up chassis for import pick up.
